You could consult a qualified tree expert for advice on how to help the trees survive the holes and the traffic. You could also try approaching the head of the energy company to see if they will install their panels without unnecessarily damaging the trees.

I have a problem with protecting a line of century maples/ oaks etc. A 10mw solar energy field is planned for the land right next to my fence . My trees will be approximately 15 to 20 feet from where they will drill thousands of boreholes to anchor solar panels. there will also be heavy trucks and machinery driving over immediate area on the other side of the fence. The Energy Co. actually came to my house and asked us to cut them down. These trees are beautiful and I don,t know what to do. Can you tell me where to start?

6. For an investigator, e.g. Investigations and Enforcement or SWAT team members, ask if they have a court order or search warrant.

Just a note, the Environmental SWAT Team does not exist anymore, although there is the Sector Compliance Branch that is somewhat similar. Also, officers of the old SWAT Team and/or the Sector Compliance Branch are inspectors, not investigators, and can therefore use the inspection powers of the Environmental Protection Act – they do not use or need warrants. Just in case you think about slamming the door on them!

I think I have been reading you ( and been a fan )for most of these 20 years .

Your talent at reducing ,what can be a subject as dense as pollution itself ,is in a class by itself .
