Why are so many environmental lawyers women?

by Dianne Saxe on October 18, 2009

The answer has been the same throughout my 35 year career – for women, on average, doing good is more important and money / status are less important than they are for men. There are, of course, stunning exceptions, but it’s been a pretty reliable general rule.
